For those who want to really help their favorite Los Al High School activity, this is the last week for booster clubs to receive full credit for selling Taste for Los Al tickets.
For all tickets sold by September 27, Los Al booster clubs will receive $30 of the $50 ticket price. Tickets sold between Sept. 28 and October 4 receive only $10 per ticket.
“The purpose is to motivate boosters to get their ticket sales in so we can tell restaurants how many will be in attendance. It also helps us finalize our orders for tables, chairs and other logistics,” said Event chair Larry Strawther. “Well over ninety per cent of all the ticket sales occur during this time.”
Booster clubs have been selling tickets since August 7, and for many years have averaged around 3,000 tickets sold during the full-return period.
The Taste takes place on October 12 at The Shops at Rossmoor between 6pm and 10pm.
