The 18th Taste for Los Al, one of the area’s biggest fundraiser for activities at Los Alamitos High School, will take place on October 13, 2018 — once again at The Shops at Rossmoor.
The event features the food of over 40 different local restaurants and one of the biggest silent auctions around.
The event, which was started by local parents and booster clubs in 2001, has raised close to $3 million to fund and support Los Alamitos Griffin activities.
It employs the philosophy of by working together, all the groups can raise more money at a single event than by working separately. It brings together more people to see the groups silent auction tables and Griffin Gear and raffle tables. It also makes things easier for the local restaurants by giving them a single location to showcase their offerings.
Tickets are initially sold only through the booster clubs. They will be distributed to the clubs on August 6 and will go on sale immediately thereafter. Online sales will begin on September 1.
